We import whole soybeans for oil-crushing plants and full-fat soya producers, to approved oil, protein and moisture specifications. Egypt’s soybean imports hit a record of around 5 million tonnes in 2025 as local crushing capacity expands, with more than 70% of supply coming from the United States.
