Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles (DDGS) is a co-product of corn ethanol production combining protein, energy and digestible fibre, widely used in cattle and poultry rations and, increasingly, in extruded aquafeed in Egypt. Egypt imported around 99,000 tonnes of U.S. DDGS in the 2024/25 season as demand grows from poultry feed mills and aquaculture.
