Live cattle from Brazil and Colombia, with specialised sea transport and full veterinary quarantine compliance.
Golden Meat imports live cattle from approved farms in Brazil and Colombia on specialised livestock vessels, in line with Egyptian veterinary quarantine requirements. The animals are zebu breeds such as Nelore, which make up around 80% of Brazil’s beef herd and are prized for heat tolerance and quick adaptation to Egypt’s climate. Before shipment they pass pre-export quarantine in accredited facilities and are individually ear-tagged, then arrive at the company’s Ismailia farm to begin fattening programmes, or are supplied directly to breeders and farms.
