The journey begins with selecting approved farms in Brazil and Colombia and inspecting the herd before shipment. Cattle travel on specialised livestock vessels fitted with ventilation and feeding systems, accompanied by a veterinary team throughout.
On arrival at the Egyptian port the animals pass through veterinary quarantine before being moved to Golden Meat’s farm in Ismailia to begin fattening programmes.
